August Stitch Fix Review

I’m so bummed I didn’t have time to do a photo review of last month’s Fix, as it was the best yet! I snagged the most perfect wrap dress, an orange and gold amazing necklace, and a striped racer-back tee with orange detail. I’ll try to post some retroactive pics of those awesome pieces eventually, as they’re all staples in my wardrobe now.

This month I had the same stylist who wrote a really cute note atop my fix! I love the personal touches Stitch Fix includes. Though the colors and styles were spot on, the fits were just slightly off compared to what I’m comfortable on most of them, so I just kept one piece. Without further ado!

WHISTLER PLEAT AND LACE PANEL TANK, $68

WHISTLER PLEAT AND LACE PANEL TANK
Cool design on the front, but just a little big for me. I like a little more fitted around the waist, and I tend to be lazy with belting, so it just didn’t quite work.

HALSEY GRAPHIC PRINT SKIRT, $48

HALSEY GRAPHIC PRINT SKIRT

My stylist thought this fun printed skirt would look great with the top, which was a good combo. There was just a little too much elastic waistband here for this to be an everyday piece for me, but I am in love with the print and colors.

GREER CROCHET LAYERED RACERBACK TANK, $38

GREER CROCHET LAYERED RACERBACK TANKHorray mint! I’ve got a bag that matches this perfectly. I thought it was a fun summer tank and versatile with the light pink tee and the racerback lace top, so I held on to this one.

OLIVE FIT & FLARE PONTE DRESS, $78OLIVE FIT & FLARE PONTE DRESS

Super cute flare on the skirt and love the color, but the fabric was on the heavier side that made this a tough sell for summer (I’m in denial that fall is around the corner). Sleeves also tend to make me nervous on a heavy fabric dress because I sweat like a mofo.

SPRUCE BUTTON SHOULDER DETAIL DRESS, $48SPRUCE BUTTON SHOULDER DETAIL DRESS

Love the breezy feel of this dress. Cute for something different, and I loved the light feel of this fabric,  but I tend to like a little more flare, A-line in my skirts.

All and all, the cool gals at Stitch Fix are definitely getting my style; I’m just picky about the fit when I’m spending that kind of money, so I’m hoping they keep sending similar stuff!
