But what really won me over was the flavor of the frosting: Rosewater Buttercream. WAT? As you might know, I have a thing for roses. Not even the flower itself but the scent. And while this little puppy didn’t have a strong smell, the flavor was awesome. It toned down some of the sweetness of normal buttercream and gave it a bit of afternoon tea charm.
The icing of the icing on the cake? The little pinkies on top were candied rose petals.
